THE CLIENT: The Port Authority of NYNJ
THE COMPETITION: A competition to design a Welcome Center Solution for 28 locations for three major airports.
HOW WE WON: Creative solutions with complete functionality. Our modular design delivered every desire on their wish list.
RESULTS: The Welcome Centers are responsible for over 400% increased passenger patronage.

Our display system was:

  • architectural,
  • easily scalable in height and footprint to suit each environment,
  • defining, not confining.

We are pleased that the Welcome Centers provided the Port Authority additional visual branding. Recognizable features include:

  • attention grabbing colors blue and yellow,
  • comfortable and inviting spaces with accessible services (car/hotel/internet),
  • comprehensive brochure rack system.

GREEN: Almost 100% of the structure uses recycled metal and plastic materials.

A big hit at the New York/New Jersey airports, our Welcome Center Modular system
will soon be implemented in many more locations for commuters ease and service.

Informationally- We connected the iconic images to the Canon Products used.

The Achievement- We attracted attention without eclipsing the small-scale product; we shared a lively narrative, highlighting the product.

A COLLABORATION: Cuyuni Rainforest Stores

A Little More Personal-

“When I went home to Guyana 15 years ago I had realized that our Caribbean Sea shores were covered with a rich nutrient Mud that blanketed our beaches. This mud poured out of the rivers of the Amazon basin and on to our shores. It was something I took for granted as a child playing in the beach. MUD…A wonderful sustainable natural product for the skin care industry. This started the idea.”- Mark Khan

In Collaboration-

Working with Liana Cane Interiors and Rainforest Brands, Silverbait worked together and pooled expertise and vision to develop a line of rainforest stores offering natural products from the Amazon Region.

Ethics and Ecology-

Along with a completely natural and sustainable product line, we decided that we would design and manufacture all of the display furniture for the stores with recycled/sustainable materials from the region.
